How To Crack The First Number To Your Dial Combination Lock!

How To Find The First Number To A Master Lock Combination Lock
Step 1: Decode the Sticky Number
This is the first step. To find the sticky number you need to turn the dial clockwise around 3 times, pull tension on the shackle (a medium tension) and turn the dial clockwise until you find a number that sticks (it is best to do this with your eyes closed). Once you find the number where it starts to stick, write it down. It is a number where you start to meet resistance and you almost feel like you need to push past a hump to get through it.
** Note: This is the hardest number to decode and it is also the most important (if you proceed to decode the entire combo)
How much tension do you need? Pull on the shackle hard until you seize the whole lock, reduce tension until you can start to turn the dial clockwise freely.
Now We Are Going To Use An Example Lock
Sticky Number = 3
Step 2: Basic Addition
Add 5 to your sticky number and that is the first number to the combination
3 + 5= 8
8 is the first digit to our combination! Please remember to substitute the sticky number you found on your lock!
