In August/September 2022 I successfully completed the Tour Du Mont Blanc (TMB) over 7 days. I hiked a total of 106 miles or 170km, 10,000m or 30,000ft in altitude, for 48 hours of moving time across the Alps from France to Italy and Switzerland around the Mont Blanc massif.
It was a challenging hiking circuit with stunning views of glaciers, steep valleys, and, of course, Mont Blanc itself. I travelled across high passes and through Alpine meadows, recharging at night in simple refuges and hotels.
I met some amazing people along the way.
I am raising money for Alzheimer’s Research UK who help support the cure the diseases that cause dementia. This is because my aunty was diagnosed earlier this year.
