Out on the last days
Out on the last days of May. *Chubs have entered the chat*
I wonder now, watching back the footage, if the huge splash dad and I saw was from a shad attacking the brook trout I caught with the bruised butt. Supposedly shad are still in the system, but I can't say for sure.
It was a good night of firsts, first chub, first time using some new fly that I got from the local shop, first time catching or even seeing a new species of fish, and finally the first time using dad's Fenwick... Also the first time I made my monologue at the end of the video.
