June and July is the harvest season of cherries in Yunnan. It doesn't bother us whether it's called cerasus tomentose or prunus avium. I picked a basket of cherries in the orchard and made some desserts such as chocolate cherries and red velvet cake. They're just perfect to treat my cousin who's married to a faraway city and the kids.
