(Supply list is below). In this video, we'll show you how to keep skunks out of community cat feeding stations so that wild critters can remain wild and the cats can have their food and water all to themselves. With step-by-step instructions, Homeless Cat Network will show you how to build two very easy solutions to skunk-proof your feeding stations and you don't need to be McGyver (or MsGyver) to do it.

Supply list for cinder block platform:
- 8 cinder blocks, each 9 inches high
If you cannot find 9 inch cinder blocks, you can use smaller ones in combination with cinder block "toppers," which are usually one inch high.

Supply and tool list to build a wood and Hardieboard platform to support a 44" x 23" feeding station:

Supplies:
4 -- 16 inch long pieces of pressure treated 4x4 posts -- these are the legs of the table
2 -- 46 inch long pieces of pressure treated 2x4s
2 -  21 inch long pieces of pressure treated 2x4s
1 piece of Hardieboard for wet areas, cut into a 26 inch x 50 piece -- this is your table top
Box of 1 5/8 inch long Hardieboard screws
4 -- 6 inch brackets plus screws to fit in the bracket holes (usually about 12 screws total; deck screws work great)
8 -- 3 inch wood screws
8 -- 5 inch wood screws (note, most 5" screws have hex heads on them. If you get a hex-head screw, be sure to get a matching hex head bit for your drill)

Tools:
Drill
Drill bits
Hardieboard scoring tool
An extra set of hands or clamps
