The new Skylake Core i5
The new Skylake Core i5 6600K does a decent job in competing with prior generation i7s out of the box, but overclocking to 4.5GHz makes it leap ahead - though we should stress that the i7s here are **benched at stock speeds**. Here we compare performance by running our tests at 1080p with an overclocked Titan X, in an attempt to make the CPU the bottleneck - not the graphics card.
