Voices of Muslims Living with Mental Illness | Film 2 | Bassem Elghawaby

The second film detailing the Bassem's mental health journey that started in earnest in 1996. Talking about a whole array of topics, including the psychiatric system, bipolar disorder, personal development, faith, bullying, and creative writing. Bassem and his company Grassroots Multimedia (grassrootsmultimedia.ca/), conceived this crowd funded project, with generous contributors from LaunchGood, in partnership with muslimlink.ca/, their owner, as well as their Editor in Chief. The talented filmmaker for this project is Husam Alaghbari. Grassroots Multimedia has a vision to branch out to do more voices of mental illness films to include those in other diverse communities as well.
