Glimpses of Kumbh Mela 2019 Prayagraj

Kumbh Mela 2019 at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh at the holy confluence of three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati called Triveni Sangam, as I saw it. Taking a dip in the holy waters is the most important thing to do at Sangam.

A giant Kumbh Nagari comes up on the banks of rivers to house the Sadhus who come from all over India and even abroad, to house Pilgrims visiting and living at Kumbh Mela and the everything that is needed to sustain them. Many bridges are built across the rivers for people to cross the rivers at various junctions.

It is an experience to be a part of the Kumbh Mela. You can get lost even if you are traveling alone. There is so much to see, observe, experience and learn. Do visit Kumbh Mela as and when you can.
