Dr. Kuberan (Kuby) Balagurunathan, Project Leader of Project I of the Heparan Sulfate Proteoglycan Program of Excellence in Glycosciences (HSPG-PEG), discusses the important role that glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) play in the process of angiogenesis (blood vessel formation).
