Replace a broken dryer belt
Replace a broken dryer belt on Whirlpool Kenmore 70 Series and Kenmore 80 Series Dryer. Fix a front load dryer drum that won't spin. If the dryer is not spinning, it is likely that the belt has broken.
A broken dryer belt on a Kenmore dryer can easily be changed by most home owners. After the top of the dryer is lifted and the front panel is removed, the belt can be accessed.
Whirlpool manufactured clothes dryers for Kenmore, Roper, Kitchen-aid and Inglis. The dryer in this video is a 29 inch (wide) Kenmore. These dryers are all very similar and you should find this video helpful for repairing the other Whirlpool manufactured dryers.
