This pretty much magic soup for slimming is a perfect recipe for more healthy way of life. If you want to lose a couple of kilos, cook this low-fat soup with high fiber content – healthy, aromatic and very tasty.
Ingredients:
• white cabbage – 200 g
• green beans – 200 g
• chopped tomatoes – 400 ml
• bell pepper – 150 g
• squash – 150 g
• broccoli – 150 g
• celery stalk – 150 g
• carrot – 200 g
• onion – 200 g
• garlic – 2 cloves
• dried basil – 1 tbsp
• fresh parsley – 10 g
• red chili pepper flakes – 1 tsp
• vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
• bay leaves – 2
• water – 1,6 l
• sugar – 1 tsp
• salt – 1 tbsp      
You will need:
• stockpot ≥ 5 l  
• carving board  
Preparation:  
1. Chop the onion and parsley, mince the garlic, cut the carrot and celery into slices, cabbage, bell pepper and squash into small dices.              
2. Heat the vegetable oil in a stockpot over medium heat, add the onion and sauté for 3 minutes, add the garlic and sauté for another minute over medium heat.
3. Add the carrot, cabbage, beans, celery, chopped tomatoes and water, bring to a boil.
4. Add the salt, sugar, dried basil and chili pepper, stir and cook with the lid covered for 30 minutes over low heat.
5. Add the bell pepper, squash and broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes over low heat under the lid.
6. Add then the parsley, stir and cook for a minute more.
7. Serve the slimming vegetable soup hot or cold.
