Learn about the early origins of wine making from the ancient world through the middle ages. Professor Ken Albala will also discuss the modern wine business.

Ken Albala is Professor of History at the University of the Pacific and Program Director for the new Master of Arts in Food Studies program. He authored and edited numerous books on food including Eating Right in the Renaissance, Food in Early Modern Europe, The Banquet, Beans (winner of the 2008 IACP Jane Grigson Award), and recently Grow Food, Cook Food, Share Food and Nuts: A Global History.
