AYYY what’s going on my Typhonians!!! 😎
As summer comes to an end, I wanted to make a special song that I feel really radiates that warm sunny feeling. It’s like summer has been one big day, and at the end, the sky turns orange and purple, it gets a little cooler, and now we refer to it as noon.
Idk where the nutty part comes into play but uh… yeah 💀
So, most video game remixers use Midi files for the template of their song. It makes things a lot easier than having to make the song yourself from the ground up. But here’s the thing… there is literally… and I mean literally, not a single midi of this song on the Internet… anymore! Because there used to be one a couple years ago I think. I’ve seen threads of one going around but it since then been deleted. So here I am, midiless, and want to remaster this song so badly…
So I take the hard route. I make the dang midi myself! I’ve transcribed songs before, like my Berdly remix and Neo Bowser Castle Illusion remix. And now there’s a third! I’m extremely proud of how accurate it came out and I really hope that others get to use this midi for themselves to make some awesome remixes 😎 If you are a Kirby remixer, reading this, then give it a shot! But when remastering this beautiful song, I wanted to emphasize the acoustic guitar. So one of my friends hooked me up with an acoustic guitar plugin from ample sound and man, it sounds so clean. I’m so glad to finally have a good guitar sound because now I can tackle many more songs 😩! One thing I wanted to get right was the instrument choices. Especially the first lead sound you hear. That whistle sound. I COULDNT find a good whistle sound anywhere, so I ended up making one myself using Vital. It was pretty simple honestly. And if anyone wants the sound preset for Vital, just hit me up and I’ll gladly give it to you if you’d like to use it! It’s a unique sound so im sure some of you could find a use for it 😎 When it came down to the mixing of this song, I wanted to keep all the background elements wider than the lead synths. Sometimes I’ll do a wide lead sound to fill the space, but so much was already happening that I decided it’s time for a simpler mix. I even panned the hi hats and what not a little bit because there’s one lead synth that has lots of high end in the middle of the stereo mix, and I just didn’t want the hi hats to get overshadowed by it. There’s a guitar at the end which I really enjoyed playing with. I added a chorus effect to it as to make it not so harsh. And as for the end section of the song, it just plays out and you really get to focus on the background elements that made the song sound so full. Somethin about that ending really hits hard for me, and whenever it comes up, I feel so relaxed. But anyways guys! This has seriously been going on long enough but I’m so glad i get to share it with you all. And guys, I’m going off to college in a couple days. It’s why uploads have been so slow. Im gonna be extremely busy most likely and I don’t know if I’ll be able to upload soon after this. I have some songs ready, just not the thumbnails 😅 So I can definitely try and buckle down in my free time and get these bangers out to you guys 😎 NOW ANYWAYS, I love u all, have an amazing day my Typhonians 💜
