I must warn you, fellow travelers, about Mint Hostel in Bangkok. This place is far from what it claims to be. Located in the heart of old town Bangkok, just a 10-minute walk from Khao San Road, Mint Hostel's advertised amenities are misleading and its condition is appalling.

First, let's talk about those pictures. Mint Hostel uses outdated photos on travel booking sites and its website (https://minthostel.thailandhotels.site/), dating back over a decade. They don't represent the hostel's current state, which is a deceptive practice.
When you arrive, you'll notice the rooms are riddled with holes in the walls. Not exactly the cozy accommodation you expected, right? But it gets worse. Sanitation is a serious concern here. Mold festers on sinks, there are no paper towels, and cleanliness is clearly not a priority.
And then there are the guests. Mint Hostel has become a haven for drug addicts, creating an unsafe environment for anyone looking for a decent place to stay.
In light of these issues, I urge you not to book your stay here. Mint Hostel should be taken off platforms like Agoda, Booking.com, Expedia, and any other travel site that promotes it. Your travel experience in Bangkok should be memorable for all the right reasons. Avoid Mint Hostel at all costs.
