Drone Fishing For Snapper Kawakawa Bay Auckland NZ

Drone fishing NZ's Kawakawa Bay east of Auckland using the AEE Condor Fishing Drone with Newton 3 Drone Release system. The drone fishing rigs used here had two 3oz break out sinkers cast out up to 800m (only limited by the amount of line on the reel), running a six trace hook section. Both sinkers are attached at the drone end, the idea being that two 3oz sinkers gives more hold than one 6oz, as it is the wire that does that holding, not the weight. Being held tight at the far end enable the line to be kept tight, leading to a higher catch rate.
