Carol’s shoulder is still hurting
Carol’s shoulder is still hurting as we wake up in a very cold Whitehaven in Cumbria. The first thing on our minds is to find a warm place for breakfast and the Taste cafe doesn’t disappoint.
Leaving the coast we head up to Blakeley Raise Stone Circle and just about manage a drone flight in the strong wind.
We park up at Ennerdale Water for a walk to the lake, nothing too adventurous on such a cold day! We come to the conclusion that it is a day for driving and not walking so decide to take a “walk in the van” through Loweswater to Crummock Water and Buttermere then over the scenic Honister Pass.
