दुष्यंत चौटाला और कांग्रेस द्वारा राज्यपाल को पत्र लिखने पर हरियाणा के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री मनोहर लाल ने कहा, "विपक्ष को जो लिखना है लिखने दीजिए...अगर वो फ्लोर पर आएंगे और 33(विधायकों) में से 23 को भी संभाल कर रख लें तो बड़ी बात होगी। ऐसी नहीं है कि वे ही कुछ कर सकते हैं। हमारे भी संबंध कांग्रेस और JJP के लोगों से हैं। अभी अविश्वास प्रस्ताव की कोई संभावना नहीं बनती लेकिन अगर संभावना बनती है तो फ्लोर टेस्ट होगा..."
On Haryana assembly floor test, former CM Manohar Lal Khattar says, "... The opposition is doing vague calculations. During the floor test, if they can retain even 23 of their MLAs, it will be a big deal... I don't see any no-confidence motion being moved anytime soon, but if any such situation arises, we will have a floor test... Many JJP MLAs have given support to BJP. This is what I'm saying, they need to think beyond what meets the eye..."
