What is going on with Jujutsu Kaisen?

Jujutsu Kaisen might be one of the most interesting mangas in recent times with the way the story is going. It is by no means perfect and this video is not meant to criticize it as a story or criticize Gege as a writer. I had some thoughts as to why the story is where it’s at and I welcome any discussion on the matter.

I understand with the most recent chapters my “predictions” are pretty much wrong but regardless it’s fun to speculate.
