In this video I show you the unused difficulty “Simple” on the Saltbaker. Maybe this mode was intented to be the real “Expert” mode, but it got rejected and replaced with an easier difficulty.
I assume, the intended “Regular” mode got released as “Expert” and an easier mode became “Regular”. The left over “real Expert” mode got moved to the inaccessable place of the “Simple” mode. The mode in the left cornor is only accessable with a mod.
That mod has a Debug menu. There you can manually choose the difficulty for each boss and activate “Easy” for the Saltbaker. That means the “Simple mode”.
Please keep in mind, that I can only speculate what happened here. It even gives the regular scoring for a flawless knockout. Thanks for all your supporting comments!
