Rolling out tight muscles is a great way to reduce muscle soreness while helping to increase blood flow to your muscles.

Here is how to foam roll the quads, IT bands, and calves:
1. Start with a foam roller on the ground and lying face down
2. Kick one leg to the side while face down and place the roller under your left quad
3. Roll out the quad and use your arms to roll yourself forward and back
4. Switch to your side and keep your IT band on the roller
5. Roll out your IT band and use your arms to help roll yourself forward and back
6. Sit down with the roller under one of your calves
7. Roll out your calf and use your arms to help roll yourself forward and back
