How to find x in a triangle when you know the perimeter

This video is all about how to find x in a triangle when you know the perimeter and forms part of the playlist "finding x." I've also added it to the GCSE Higher Revision playlist.

This particular question asks to find the value of x in a triangle with sides x-1, x+3, x+4 when you have a perimeter of 19cm. The whole idea is to create an equation:

x-1+x+3+x+4 = 19
and then solve for x.
