What is bike riding in downtown Boston like?
On this crisp, winter afternoon, I rode from Coolidge Corner, in Brookline to Beacon Hill in downtown Boston, passing several Boston landmarks along the way. You can see the varying degrees of bike protection available here. Some of the major routes have dedicated bike lanes. But some of the narrower streets have little to no bicycle infrastructure. The salt on the streets makes it difficult to see some of the cycling lanes.
Come along, and see what riding to Boston from Brookline looks like! We'll see some of the Boston University Campus. We'll also pass through Kenmore Square and stop at the top of Beacon Hill. We'll see the Massachusetts State House, the Boston Commons and the 54th Regiment Monument. Enjoy!
