Gesture drawing is an excellent way to ensure your figures are fluid and dynamic. Without it, your drawings can look stiff and stagnant. It is a quick way to copy a person's movement, ensuring that you can return to the drawing later and know exactly what you're doing. It's also an incredibly beneficial thing to practice because it ensures you become much quicker at rendering the human body/figure.

-A pen
-Charcoal
-graphite
-Paper
-(try not to use an eraser!)
