He began his journey, on the 5th of November 1987 ,As Assistance Locopilot Goods at Mughalsarai. On 15th june 2001 he transfered to chitpur As LPG goods atlast he transferred to Sealdah on 21th November 2018 Through his career, He stands a witness to transition from Diesel to Electric Locomotives. In his early days, He functioned as Diesel Operator, later as Loco Pilot of Diesel Locomotives (over 29 years). For past 8 years, He has been driving Electric Locomotive powering Mail Express Trains. He concludes his Last service in the 12343 UP Sealdah - Haldibari "Darjeeling Mail" on 14/07/2023. Amongs numerous qualities a Loco Pilot must possess, alertness stands out as paramount. As a seasoned pilot, he strongly advises younger generations to maintain constant vigilance as any lapse of it could lead to consequences affecting many lives. As he retires, we will say farewell to his immense reservoir of experience. Thank you sir for your service. We will miss you.
