The idea to make mistletoe
The idea to make mistletoe seeds with hotglue came to me while I made my dragonfly project. I love those delicate branches and their symbolic meaning (health, luck and protection for lovers). So I decided to model them with paperclay on the glass as if they grew around the bottle. The colour combination of yellow, crimson and orange reminds me of an early sunrise and amber.

The materials I used are:
An empty glass bottle, hotglue, thin brass wire, paperclay, acrylic colours (green, yellow and gold), glass colours (yellow, orange, crimson), transparent varnish

0:14 making mistletoe seeds with hotglue
1:12 applying the hotglue pattern on the glass
3:33 modelling the mistletoes with paperclay
7:42 carefully cleaning the interspaces
8:18 painting the mistletoes
9:13 colorize with glass colours
10:39 small accents and corrections with gold acrylic
11:04 covering the mistletoes with clear varnish
