Our Smallholding: Our Chicken Breeding Plan & Breeds

We breed Buff Orpington chickens and have kept them for a number of years although now we also keep Cream Legbars and Copper Black Marans.
In this video we explain why we chose these breeds as well as our breeding philosophy, how we select our breeding hens and cockerels, the qualities we are looking for and our breeding calendar with our broody hens.
