DIY Body Butter - Great for moisturizing and preventing stretch marks

Here is the recipe for a body butter that I loved during my pregnancy! This simple yet amazing butter has Shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil and almond oil. Adding an essential oil is your choice, I used Lavender.

During pregnancy we are very particular about the food we eat, we try to eat healthy and avoid junk food. Our skin is our biggest organ and moisturizers are its food. So I went on a hunt for the most natural way to keep my skin healthy during pregnancy.

Stretch marks are caused by the hormonal changes in our body, and the rapid weight gain in the last weeks of pregnancy. But by keeping the natural elasticity of our skin and using a moisturizer rich in Vitamin E and A, we can reduce their appearance to an extent. Since my skin is already prone to stretch marks I wanted something to help me avoid those as well. I found this recipe and tweaked it a little to make this deliciously soft and rich body butter. And of course I had to share it with you girls! I really hope you try this out and find it useful.
