How to Change a String Trimmer, Weed Eater, Weed Whacker Head

Learn how to change a string trimmer head aka weed eater head.  This simple job takes as little as 30 seconds.  You can use a screwdriver or nail to insert into the hole on the trimmer.  The trick to remember is that the head is threaded backwards so it is not "right tighty" on this one.  Turn it to the right to loosen then head, and then do the opposite to install a new one.   I prefer the speed feed heads on my string trimmers so I change out the oem heads for the trimmer heads that I prefer.   Thank you for watching the video.
