Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) was founded 50 years ago on the conviction that everyone has the right to medical care. Today, in more than 70 countries around the world, MSF continues to offer assistance to people based solely on need—irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. During crises such as armed conflicts, natural disasters, and epidemics, our teams of doctors, nurses, logisticians, mental health officers, and other frontline workers are often among the first on the scene.
