SMA Sunny Tripower errorcode 6408 diagnosis. Part 1

After 6 years of operation, this SMA Sunny tripower solar inverter stopped working. The errorcode is 6408 and the red LED on the frontpanel is always on. The warranty was 5 years. A new model costs about 2000 euros. The service manual explains that errorcode means "UCE Monitoring". This is a very mysterious description. Suggestion from SMA: Replacement.
