Big Model Trains at Bitter Creek Western Railroad

Here's an inside look at a private model train layout in San Luis Obispo county, California.  The Bitter Creek Western Railroad is not a tourist attraction and is not open to the public.  But this video gives you a good look at this amazing place for model railway enthusiasts.

This is a huge layout that takes about fifteen minutes to do a complete loop around.  There are numerous bridges and tunnels, a turntable, and a whole lot of experienced model railroaders.

The video shows some beautiful model trains including detailed re-creations of steam engines and diesel locomotives, as well as some unique trains that only exist in the model train world.
