If you're an adult beginner ballerina looking for a shame free ballet class, welcome to Adult Ballet Academy. This ballet vlog will bring you behind the scenes of my most recent adult ballet workshop in New York City.
Most of us adult beginner ballet dancers are seeking a space that doesn't shame you for your body, experience level or anything else. It can be challenging to find an adult ballet class that teaches you the basics you never got to learn as a child, while also taking you seriously as a serious adult student.
I created Adult Ballet Academy with the help of some incredible teachers so that there would be a space for beginners to learn in a comfortable environment. In this class, we learn the BASICS from scratch while slowly building to an easy, beginner friendly choreography by the end of the weekend. It I hope you enjoyed this vlog.

Hi there! I'm Veronica, welcome to my beginner dance journey. When I was 17, I was told by a teacher that I would never be a ballerina. I let that thought control me for YEARS but now, in my late 20s, I moved to New York City and I'm finally starting ballet late. This is a space for me to document the ups and downs of learning how to do ballet in my 20s and show anyone that it's never too late to live your dreams.
