Trail Cam FAQ's: Does Each Render Need Its Own Data Plan?

Great question. And this may come to a surprise to you, but each Exodus Render does not need its own data plan. We offer what is called shared plans, where Exodus Render users and Exodus customers are able to stack as many Exodus Renders on a single data plan. So the great thing about that is it eliminates the need to micromanage each camera, each data plan, manage how many photos are going to what camera at the end of the month. You can stack as many Exodus Renders on a single data plan and the data is split between all cameras. So we'll show you how it works.

Each camera has a $7 line charge every month that it's active. Each active camera draws from the pool of data that you've selected as your monthly plan. For example, if you have a one gigabyte plan which costs $20, with five active cameras, your total costs for all cameras combined would be $55. The more cameras you stack onto your plan, the more cost efficient it becomes when looking at the costs on a per camera basis, we offer a wide variety of data plans ranging from $1 per month, all the way up to $120 per month. So there are plenty options to ensure you have the most cost effective plan to run your Exodus render.
