An Overview of the KDP Print:
- Still new, currently in public beta
- Part of Amazon’s new combined platform model
- Upload process is fast & simple
- Similar to Createspace’s upload and file review process
- Convenient to have both print and digital formats in one platform
However, KDP Print is still lacking in many ways...
- No possibility to order proof copies for review & discounted author copies
- No access to expanded distribution channels
- Cannot switch back to Createspace

1. Log into your account and click “+ Create paperback” to start the upload process
2. Fill out all the relevant fields. If you have already uploaded your kindle book, then this part will already be completed for you.
3. Select the Categories for Your Book.
4. Enter the Information Relating to Createspace. If you have previously uploaded your book to Createspace, KDP will ask you log in and to verify the ownership of your Createspace account. If you have not, the system will simply lead you to the next stages of the KDP upload process.
5. Set up your ISBN. You can either enter your own or get one assigned to you by KDP Print.
6. Select your print options.
7. Upload your manuscript and cover files to KDP Print. Both of these have to be in PDF format.
8. Launch the KDP Print previewer.
9. Select the price points for your book, for all marketplaces.
10. Publish your POD Paperback!
