Goodwood Junction Mid 1980's

From My Vault Series.....Goodwood Junction Mid 1980's ANR 959 and 836 roll to a stop at Millswood and then proceed crossing the Noarlunga (now Seaford) mainlines, before passing the now demolished Goodwood signal cabin, and passing under the Glenelg tramline bridge and Goodwood station. This train was the Up Mount Gambier overnight express goods, running on the alternate nights to the Blue Lake Express. From inside the "Y" a 6 car Up Noarlunga "Jumbo" passes followed by the Down Pt Stanvac oil train to Lonsdale. The loco is ANR 942. Note the Series one 8300 brake van on the rear. As the train dissapears from view an Up Tonsley 2 car "Jumbo" passes.
