US Joe Biden’s press conference in Vietnam was abruptly cut short mid-sentence by his own White House staff after he was seen rambling and slurring away on Sunday night.
Joe Biden was mid-sentence answering questions from journalists before his microphone was cut off and replaced with jazz music, forcing him to shuffle off and head backstage.
Sky News host Liz Storer has mocked the incident when Joe Biden’s press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre “suddenly interrupted” him mid-sentence.
“Speaking in Hanoi Vietnam, I’m not sure whether he actually knew where he was,” Ms Storer said.
“His press conference was actually cut abruptly short by his own staffer ... he’s suddenly interrupted by his own press secretary, cutting him off.
“The elevator music is the only thing that could make that thing more glorious and it does.”
