The amazing sight of a train crossing the restless, windy waters of the ocean on the Pamban bridge in Southern India.  One of the more spectacular sights and an amazing railway sector that captures the intrigue of everyone passing by sometimes causing traffic jams on the parallel road bridge.

The Rameswaram Express, also referred to as the daily boat mail express, is seen here making a very slow, cautious crossing of the Pamban bridge on a windy December day.
