Baby gorilla girl Eyare from
Baby gorilla girl Eyare from the Calgary Zoo in Canada is quick to move when her giant dad moves towards her. Silverback Jasiri got his food and is on the move, he wants to get back to his own cave in a corner which he seems to spend a great deal of time in. His daughter looking at him and sliding down the rocks. Mother Dossi is keeping an eye out. Eyare plays on the hose and hits something with her hand in the wood chips.
Later on, Gorilla Kioja does a twirl and Jasiri is squeezing his big frame under the hammock. Eyare is quickly sliding away from him again. Pregnant Yewande comes from the other side and Eyare is caught in the middle of her and Dad. It looked like she got pushed by Dad's leg, but on closer inspection, she turned around in front of his leg. She quickly follows Yewande but turns around towards Dad again. Jasiri isn't really interested in his daughter and moves past her, but the little girl starts to get brave, walks behind Dad and has a sniff. She almost looks like she wanted to bite Dad's leg lol. She quickly undertakes her dad running to her mum who pushed the ball, to get out of the silverbacks way. Both Mother and daughter are near the window when Jasiri comes close to them and with his huge hand, gently touches his daughter's face. Baby Eyare opens her mouth, her play face and reaches out to Dad. Mum gets up and Eyare moves past me. I do love it when silverbacks interact so gently with their offspring. A while later another sweet moment between dad and his daughter. He comes out from the back, and walks towards Eyare. Reaches out as Eyare scrambles backwards, but the gentle giant just touches her nose with his finger and moves on. He moves towards Dossi who decides to get out of his way. Jasiri sits with his back towards Mum and baby. Eyare has a quick look at her dad, then moves towards the wood wool. Mum joins her daughter and Eyare cuddles into her. A close-up of the baby's hands and feet. Eyare wiggles as Mum has her hand on her chest. A close-up of her face this time.
