IN-ORBIT SERVICES TO SHAPE THE FUTURE OF SUSTAINABLE SPACE OPERATIONS

Today we have more than 5000 uncontrollable objects (failed satellites and used rocket bodies) in orbit for approx. 2800 live satellites and, in average, we have been adding 74 new derelict objects to Space every year. All these objects orbit at 28’000 Km/h uncontrollably.

If not removed these objects present a fragmentation risk either through collision with other objects or explosions and present a life ending risk to existing satellite mission

Essentially we are in a situation that could be compared with a motorway network with rapidly growing numbers of new cars but no tow trucks and we need to fix that.    https://clearspace.today/
