Skyrim ~ How To Get The Whirlwind Cloak

In this video guide see how to acquire the Adept destruction spell known as Whirlwind cloak. This requires access to Solstheim, knocking out a few sidequests and the destruction skill level to be at 40. After doing four or five of the main quests the dragonborn finally meets up with Neloth, the dunmeri wizard from Tel Mithryn. After that sidequests can begin. Keep approaching Neloth in his mushroom tower and asking about his research. Each time a new sidequest will be given. Finish a few and get your destruction skill up to level 40 (it won't appear otherwise). One can typically get this up fast by beating on shadowmere with the flames spell and training after each overall level up. (sybille at the blue palace or faralda at the college). Ask about research after level 40 is reached in destruction and the quest Wind And Sand will be given. A random dungeon chest will hold the book of the same name. Return it and approach Talvas to buy the spell tome Whirlwind Cloak. (This can done immediately after talking to Neloth.) The whirlwind cloak is particularly useful when diving in waters infested with slaughterfish. It works underwater so any attackers will be flung to the side. (Some ankle biters can get through however.)
