ALBATROS WITH 3-D PRINTED WING 7-14-24 KFM-2 AIRFOIL VS CLARK-Y

I used the standard PLA not the PLA-LW. The wings being compared are 48" span with a 6" chord.  These wings have two 9g servos for the aileron + wire extensions:

Dollar Tree Foam Board wing: 6.5 oz
Balsa and Film covered wing: 7.0 oz
3D printed PLA wing: 8 oz

My 3D printed PLA wing has six 8" sections. Each section takes 7 hours to print.

I will now seriously start making planes out of PLA !!!
