Sumera Waris is a talented tabla player of Pakistan. She's considered to be the first and is currently one of the very few women tabla players in the country. She's a disciple of Kashif Ali Dani. In this performance, her brother Sulman Waris accompanies on the harmonium.

This performance was organised by Sur Mandal and SAMAAJ in collaboration with the Centre for Business and Society, LUMS, Lahore.
