A beautiful rendition of Raga Abhogi by Dr L Subramaniam at the Bengal Classical Music Festival, Dhaka on 26th December of 2017.

About the Ragam:
#Abhogi (Ābhōgi) is a raga in Carnatic music and has been adapted to Hindustani music. It is a pentatonic scale, an audava raga. It is a derived scale (janya raga), as it does not have all the seven swaras (musical notes). Ābhōgi has been borrowed from Carnatic music into Hindustani music and is also quite popular in the latter.
About the BCMF:
The Bengal Classical Music Festival is a major South Asian classical music festival held in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is one of the world's largest music festivals devoted to South Asian classical music and draws leading musicians from India and Bangladesh.
