How to Animate a Spring in SOLIDWORKS Motion

Models inside SOLIDWORKS are rigid bodies and a simple animation cannot show flexible motions.  A SOLIDWORKS Simulation study can accurately calculate the deformation based on material properties and create a simple animation.  However you may just need a basic animation of your assembly to show how parts move, including how a spring will extend or compress.  This video shows how to create in-context references in the spring to allow it to update.
