The Making of Tharramali - Short Documentary

Tharramali - The making of a song, a dance and a film.

Tharramali was written by Lillian Bowen and her Guugu Yimithirr class with Pama Language Centre's songs on Country Project in 2017. The Guugu Yimithirr vocals were recorded with Tammy Gibson, Naz McLean, Kyomie Deemaal and Lex Bowen-ludwick in 2018. Choreography and dance workshops were lead by Tamara Pearson and Tahlia O'Brien with the Barefoot Ballerinas and the Yirmbala dancers at Hope Vale in 2022. The dance performance on country was filmed by Caden Pearson.
