United States has said that there is no provision in the CAATSA that will provide any kind of sanction waiver to India over its S-400 air defence system deal with Russia. The Biden administration has urged all its allies and partners to forgo transactions with Russia that trigger sanctions under CAATSA. The U.S statement came in the wake of delivery of S-400 missile system to India by Russia.
