2004 Toyota Sienna - locating the driver's side mode door vs. temperature blend door

On the driver's side of Toyota Sienna's with automatic temperature controls, there are two actuators or servo's related to the AC.

The lower one controls the air temperature (aka blend door). The higher one (mode door) controls where the air blows (defrost, face, feet).

I swapped out our mode door actuator. access was difficult. I only removed part of the things in the way.

I would have benefited from removing the driver seat to lay down properly.*** I am not a professional. The methods I use may be completely wrong and/or dangerous.
