Ensuring a fiscally sustainable and secure future

Minister Heng Swee Keat explaining the need to ensure that we have the revenues and resources to ensure a secure and better Singapore for Singaporeans. He explained that we are on a sound fiscal footing for this decade (from 2011 to 2020), but we will not have enough revenues to meet our growing demands in the next decade (between 2021 and 2030) if we do not take measures early. He was delivering the Budget 2018 statement in Parliament on 19 February 2018.
