Moscow Police released new details
Moscow Police released new details in the murder investigation of four University of Idaho students.
In a Facebook post, Moscow Police confirmed that the 911 call came from one of the roommate's phones inside the home. The original 911 call requested medical aid for an unconscious person. Upon arrival, officers discovered the four victims.
Moscow Police said Madison and Kaylee made multiple phone calls to a man before the murder, and this is part of the ongoing investigation.
Detectives said the victims were on the second and third floor of the home.
Police say they do not believe the private party driver that drove Kaylee and Madison home on November 13 was involved in the crime. It was originally stated that Kaylee and Madison took an Uber.
Detectives said the two surviving roommates arrived home at 1 a.m. after going out that night, and they did not wake up until later on the day of the murder.
Detectives are also seeking all outside surveillance video taken between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on November 13. Specifically, police are asking for footage from:
- West Taylor Ave (north boundary)
- West Palouse River Dr (south boundary)
- Highway 95 south to the 2700 block of Highway 95 S (east boundary)
- Arboretum & Botanical Garden (west boundary)
