NCIS: New Orleans Star REVEALS Why He REALLY Quit The Show..
Welcome back to Film Recall. Actor Lucas Black shocked many when he walked away from his role in NCIS: New Orleans in 2019. The actor was one of the original and popular cast members of the spin-off show when it premiered in 2014, playing Special Agent Christopher LaSalle until Season 6 when he was killed off. Black also appeared on the flagship series NCIS from 2014 to 2017.
In a new interview with Fox News Digital, the 39-year-old has opened up about his decision to leave the hit series, saying the long hours on set – up to 70 hours a week – were "destructive". While Black is now happily spending more quality time with his family, he is also keeping busy with acting. He is currently starring in Pure Flix’s Legacy Peak, in which his character goes on an adventure to win the hearts of his love interest’s children.
